  • Guntram Berti, NEC Research Labs, St. Augustin, works on mesh generation for medical data, and on generic software for mesh management (the GrAL library).

  • SimBio-Vgrid (Guntram Berti): A fast and robust octree-based 3D mesh generator for unstructured grids. Works directly on segmented 3D images.

  • At the Weierstrass Institute (WIAS) in Berlin, Hang Si and Klaus Gärtner are working on algorithms for 3D boundary conforming Delaunay mesh generation. Hang Si is maintaining the grid generator TetGen. Jürgen Fuhrmann is working on the integration of the Delaunay grid generators triangle and TetGen into PDE simulation software.
